We would like to thank you for choosing to attend Sherman Indian High School. We look forward to getting to know you.
We have developed a student-centered counseling department. We respect the tribal community that you belong to. We understand  that we must prepare you to live in two worlds. We look forward to learning more about you and what you want to do after you graduate from Sherman.

We determine grade level in the following manner:

Freshman: A student who is beginning high school for the first time.

Sophomore: A student is a sophomore if he/she is in his/her second year of high school. A student will stay at this level until he/she earns a 100 credits, regardless of how many years he/she has been in high school.

Junior: A student who has completed 100 to 159 credits is a junior, regardless of how many years he/she has been in high school.

Senior: To be considered a senior, a student must have completed a minimum of 160 credits before the beginning of the year. He/she must have 12 or fewer classes to complete the classes in the correct sequence within the space of the school year. Any student who does not meet these requirements will NOT be considered a senior.
